Phases "Oregon Summer"
Copyright 1983 Marcia Meyer

Oregon Summer, also released as a limited edition Vinyl LP ( click here for Vinyl copies ), was an ambitious follow-up to Phases in that it was a significant example at the time of ambient music becoming serious composition, a shift away from drone soundscapes and trance jams. Oregon Summer reveals a classical and choral quality and includes string and woodwind arrangements by Mary Watkins and once again Al Rempel and John Jacyna were there with help on the synthesizer arrangements.
Oregon Summer is a fabulous piece of work, extremely professional on all counts and as a result it leaves a lasting impression on the ears.

Beyond One "Beyond One"
Copyright 2008 Marcia Meyer and Paul Marcano

And so it came to pass that the artist who created Marcia's first album cover for Phases turned out to be a musician and composer himself and in fact released a vinyl album of his own in 1981 called "Islands in Space" with his band Lightdreams. Once the new century had unfolded as early as 2003 Marcia and Paul Marcano began getting together periodically to see what would happen musically between them. Inevitably, in the fullness of time, quite a unique album emerged which they call Beyond One. Perhaps it needs no further explanation beyond saying that it presents a brave new world of music and sound! Check it out.

Julianna Truesdell offers two awe-inspiring original compositions to this album of children's lullabyes. Also included in the group is the Juno award winning female vocalist, Patricia Dahlquist.
